Product Overview

Yanchang 50100Y is a domestic blown film grade LLDPE produced by Yanchang Petroleum. It adopts butene as comonomer, without slip agent and anti-block agent added.This resin features stable melt flow and wide processing window. Finished films have excellent tear resistance, puncture resistance and low-temperature toughness with uniform and tough texture. It meets food contact safety standards and is suitable for mass production of general packaging films.

4. Processing & Storage Guidelines

Processing Parameters

Barrel Temperature: 180–220°C

Die Temperature: 190–210°C

Blow-up Ratio: 2.0–3.3, adjust appropriately according to actual production conditions.

Drying Requirement: Normally stored pellets require no drying. Dry damp pellets at 60–70°C for 1 hour and cool to room temperature before feeding.

Storage Requirements

Store pellets in cool, dry and ventilated warehouses. Keep away from open fire, rainwater, direct sunlight and odorous goods to prevent moisture absorption and odor contamination. Do not stack pallets higher than 5 layers. The shelf life is 2 years under standard storage conditions.

A: Routine corona treatment is recommended. The film surface is clean without additive precipitation. Qualified surface energy can guarantee stable printing and lamination bonding effect.

Q3: Is this grade suitable for ultra-thin agricultural films or heavy-duty thick films?

A: It performs well for heavy-duty medium and thick films above 30μm. It is not recommended for ultra-thin films thinner than 20μm due to its low melt flow property.

Q4: What are its advantages compared with ordinary domestic 1.0 MFR LLDPE?

A: It has better low-temperature toughness, more stable film bubble and more uniform film thickness. Meanwhile, it has smaller batch quality fluctuation than common domestic equivalent LLDPE grades.

Q5: Will drying damp pellets damage original film toughness?

A: Standard drying process will not damage product performance. It only removes surface moisture without destroying internal molecular structure, so the original mechanical toughness of films remains unchanged.
